About Us
Our journey began thirty years ago when David left teaching to fulfil a passion to design and make one-off pieces of furniture. With the help of his wife Sue, they started their business in a very small converted cow shed. The business has grown steadily ever since. Today, we are on the same site with extensive workshops and showrooms in a completely refurbished building surrounded by attractive gardens.
The team at David Haugh will make life easy for you. Our designer has considerable experience advising on layouts and can co-ordinate the whole project from start to finish. Our production manager delivers a consistently high standard and Mark, our specialist finisher, oversees the spray shop.
The design process at David Haugh is never rushed. We take the time to truly understand your needs, preferences and budget, working closely with you to develop a layout that incorporates as many desired features as possible. During a detailed presentation meeting, we provide you with photo-realistic images and a complete breakdown of costs, so you can visualise exactly how your project will take shape.

Traditional In-Frame Painted Kitchen in Obsidian Green
This bespoke Shaker kitchen features traditional in-frame cabinetry, painted in two colours from the Little Greene Paint Company. The island is finished in deep Obsidian Green, while the surrounding cabinetry is painted in Slaked Lime Deep, creating a balanced contrast within the room. A classic Shaws double butler sink sits within 30mm ‘Ice White’ quartz worktops from Globaltopz. The electric Aga forms a natural focal point, framed by a specially constructed mantel designed to house a built-in Elica extractor.
Practical storage has been carefully considered, with a traditional pantry alongside a bi-fold cupboard designed to house small appliances and create a dedicated coffee-making area. Barrington handles and pulls from Hendel & Hendel in aged brass complement the Quooker tap in patinated brass and the Perrin & Rowe mixer tap in English Bronze.
